The GRG140 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It is part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GRG140 features a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups in an HSS configuration. The parts specifications where significantly changed in 2013 and again in 2015.
In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated NewZealand pine, replaced rosewood.
