The Kali Audio IN-UNF is an ultra-nearfield 3-way desktop monitoring system designed for producers, musicians, content creators, gamers, streamers, and audiophiles who require accurate full-range sound in compact workspaces. Engineered specifically for desktop environments and close listening positions, the IN-UNF delivers professional studio-quality monitoring performance at arm’s length with exceptional stereo imaging, clarity, and low-end response.
The system consists of two compact coaxial satellite speakers paired with a dedicated bass unit containing dual 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers. Each satellite features a 4-inch optimized-profile midrange driver with an integrated 1-inch textile-dome tweeter, providing precise phase alignment and highly detailed imaging similar to Kali’s acclaimed Independence Series studio monitors.
Designed for ultra-nearfield listening, the IN-UNF performs best at approximately 0.8 meters (2.6 feet) from the listener, making it ideal for desktop music production setups, editing stations, gaming environments, and multimedia workspaces where traditional studio monitors may be too large or impractical. The spherical satellite speakers sit on adjustable silicone stands that allow precise positioning toward the listener for optimal performance.
The integrated bass unit houses dual horizontally opposed 4.5-inch woofers that minimize vibration transfer to the desk surface while delivering tight, controlled, and extended low-frequency response down to 39Hz. A specially engineered low-noise port design further improves bass performance while reducing unwanted turbulence and distortion.
Powered by a low-noise Class-D amplification system delivering 220W total continuous power, the IN-UNF offers clean headroom, low distortion, and highly accurate reproduction even at lower listening levels. Integrated DSP processing provides optimized crossover control, limiter protection, and selectable boundary EQ presets for improved performance in various desktop placements and room configurations.
Connectivity options include balanced 1/4" TRS inputs, 3.5mm stereo input, USB-C audio input, and optical Toslink digital input, allowing seamless integration with computers, audio interfaces, gaming consoles, mobile devices, and multimedia systems. The USB-C connection supports 24-bit/48kHz audio playback for high-quality digital audio reproduction.
